The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) offers various programs to individuals with special needs. These programs are called Waiver Programs. Amigo Case Management is on contract with DOH to provide Case Management for Developmentally Delayed individuals. There are several Case Management Agencies located in the Metro Regional Area. Case Managers organize interrelated activities which are based upon the needs and desired assistance of the qualified individuals. They monitor the services through regular face-to-face visits. The Case Manager assists the qualified individual to access other professionals.
